Vauxhall Fashion Scout’s Ones to Watch show is the number one catwalk for journalists and buyers who have their eye on the next big thing in fashion.
The show presents four designers who have never had a solo show at London Fashion week and are carefully selected by a top panel of judges.
This season the womenswear winners are Heohwan Simultion, Anne Sofie Madsen, Myrza de Muynck and Nova Chiu.
For TellusFashion, there was one shining star amongst them at the show yesterday.
Anne Sofie Madsen has skipped over to London, barely out of the throws of Copenhagen Fashion Week, and we love her quintessentially Danish style.
Her autumn/winter 12 collection, which was watched by the likes of Susie Lau, Kate Nash and Fashion Monitor, was almost gladiator like with fringed mini skirts, dirt-like digital print dresses and entangled rope necklines.
It’s dark, it’s edgy and still so relatable with what people are wearing on the streets.
Her Danish success has been phenomenal and London doesn’t seem too far behind in catching on to this brilliant new name.
