Agnieszka Swiatly new designer eveningwear haute couture

Our new Designer of the Week, Agnieszka Swiatly, is making an international name for herself.

She is a popular name in Poland, winning the Gryf Fashion Show in 2008, and featuring in the country’s top fashion magazines, but she has also showcased at the Ukraine’s Lviv Fashion Week, Berlin Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week and off-schedule at London Fashion Week.

To celebrate New York Fashion Week, TellusFashion’s Designer of the Week is our new favourite from the city that never sleeps.

KV was founded in 2009 by the Parsons graduate Kristi Vosbeck.

Her lady-like dresses have serious glamour and ooze ‘cherchez la femme’.  As well as Hollywood starlets, Kristi is inspired by Yves Saint Laurent, Stella McCartney, Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen.

Join the Fashion Fringe panel on tour

Fashion Fringe at London Fashion Week September 2011

A select few members of the public are invited to go back to university with some of Fashion Fringe’s esteemed alumni including Matthew Williamson, Christopher Kane and Erdem.

The Fashion Fringe roadshow will tour Edinburgh, Northumbria, Manchester, Nottingham, Brighton and London speaking to students at their institutions and a few tickets are open to the public.

Each designer will sit on a panel with Fringe founder Colin McDowell and local journalists, bloggers, buyers and merchandisers to discuss breaking in to the industry and offer advice.
