cristinadami creates collections of one-off garments hand-made and crafted out of vintage lace, fabrics swatches, end of line lengths, beads and sequins from around the world, all mixed with natural fabrics, raw edges, natural dye and hand knitted pieces. Enchanting, elegant and seductive, her shapes aim to reproduce the movement of a woman’s body as if volumes were sculptured by light and the elements.With a romantic rock feel and a great care for details, finishing and tiny embellishment, each collection tell a story of transformation, transmutation and reinvention. Cristina truly believes in the need of individuality, authenticity, emotions and in the power of the six impossible things.Cristina Adami studied at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design before setting up her own label. Originally from Italy, Cristina now lives and works in London.She recently collaborated with Florence Welch designing stage outfits for Florence & The Machine first US tour and the event was the main inspiration to launch her first womenswear collection.
