Glasgow Does Vintage.

When it comes to style, I always think when someone throws a bit of vintage into the mix, it instantly adds a uniqueness and personal touch to any outfit, and also takes off the stress off showing up somewhere wearing the same dress as your friend, we've all been there. Let's try to forget.

Whilst wandering the streets of Glasgow I came across this young lady outside the Glasgow Art School. Channeling a vintage war-time look, her outfit, complete with ringlets and kiss curl hair under her hat, shows her amazing personal style.
I especially love her beaten up boots.

Boots and Hat: Vintage.
Coat: Also Vintage from Armstrongs in Edinburgh.

I felt like I was stalking the art school students as I looked for some more stylish people and found another lover of vintage.

Giving a more punk edge to the vintage trend she teams a black fur coat with ripped tights, biker boots and a leopard print hat. I especially like the two tone fur of the coat, The brown collar gives it something extra.

Coat and boots: Vintage
Hat: Topshop

So vintage pieces are definitely a way of ensuring a unique outfit, and making people mega jealous when they find out that amazing coat you are wearing, is in fact one of a kind and they totally cannot copy you. Result!

Have a great weekend, it's my birthday on Saturday and going some vintage shopping during the day for something to wear that night! Hopefully I bag an awesome dress...or two.
