This week saw our Duchess of Cambridge turn the big 30! and didn’t she leave her 20’s in style. From marrying the future King, in a wedding that can only be likened to something out of Disney and attending more premieres and charity events than should be physically possible, the Princess kissed her twenties goodbye in style.
Since marrying into the royal family, Kate has undoubtedly proved that she’s not one to blend in, constantly up to date with the latest trends, she has evolved into a style icon in her own right.

After declaring my love for lace last week, I was more than ecstatic when Kate graced the red carpet at Stephen Speilberg's War Horse premiere in this classically stylish floor length Alice Temperely gown. The plunging neckline and clinched waste creates curves for the slender Princess.
And this member of the royal isn’t afraid to venture onto the high street either…

The day after her wedding, the newly crowned Princess stepped out, fresh faced, in this blue Zara dress, yes Zara! At only £49.99, girls around the world were overcome with joy as the realisation hit that they to, could dress like a Princess.
Obviously a fan of Zara, Kate was recently spotted wearing another one of their creations at Gary Barlow's charity gig, recycling her black blazer, and teaming the mini-dress with a waist belt and clutch, she looked sleek and stylish.

Showing her love for the high-street brand Reiss, the duchess greeted the Obamas' on their visit to the UK in this nude cross over dress, that goes just perfectly with her sapphire rock. When pictures emerged of Kate chatting with the First Lady, Reiss’s website crashed for two hours and their stores were bombarded with women desperate to get there hands on this high-street bargain.
We could hardly talk about the Princesses wardrobe without mentioning the dress that wowed millions and depressed millions more.

The best kept secret in fashion history was finally revealed when Kate stepped out of the car in April 2011 to unveil what can only be described as one of the most beautiful and exquisite dresses of all time. The designer Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen created a gorgeously simple, ivory silk and lace gown that embodied Kate’s taste and style. The piece demonstrates classic British fashion at its best.
It is safe to say that every woman out there who grew up watching Disney films, still believes that one day prince charming will knock on her door with one perfectly sized glass shoe… but sadly we don’t live in Disney (oh how I wish I could), So it seems in this day and age if you want to bag yourself a Prince you need to pull what I like to call a Kate. This entails striping to your undies, throwing on a net dress and strutting your stuff down a catwalk. Definitely possible and luckily for us ladies, Will has a brother!
