After graduating in 2008, Diana Matias has shown her own light collaborating with many magazines and brands.
Here she presents her label, Sacro for A/W '11

Gothic elements, combined with a feminine overlay has made me fall in love with this collection. Considered beading patches, transparent strips and layering are of note for this collection, key trends which can transcend from season to season.

This is my favourite piece, I love the dress and how a simple LBD can make such a statement.

I love these leggings, the fact they are so striking brings the outfit together. Black and white are key colours this season and im sure we will be seeing them far for in the next few months.

This is a really casual look, but it works so well. Oversized Denim shirts and leggings are a staple!

"When it’s the end of the world and there’s nothing left but dusty mirages- what does it mean to be a modern woman? Who are we going to become? Where can we go from here? And most importantly, what are we going to wear when we get there?"
A collection inspired by a whole host of questions, most we can't answer - only seek inspiration from them. 'What we leave behind - s/s 12' by Megan Marie Doge, who graduated from Parson in 2010, is unique and provoking.

Multi-tone colours, brights and fluoro are of note in this collection, with paint like affects, mid-length and cropped tees creating the backdrop. Creepers seem to be a huge trend once again and I am seeing them everywhere, the shoes above are so reminiscent of that style, just a bit different in peach. I love this blazer below!

Love the fringing on the side of the trousers in the first picture.
Think masculine, think bold, hard and brave, finished with an elegant cover-coat and feminine touches, what you will come across is Danielle Foster's collections - a handbag designer recognised by the likes of Charlie Le Mindu.

After graduating from London College of Fashion in 2010, she has gone one to make a name in her own right, working freelance to create a variety of pieces featuring a monotone theme, reaping inspiration from 40's erotica bondage and torture.

It isn't uncommon to see many of her handbags featuring different types of leather combinations together with a equestrian backdrop. I particularly love this bag, striking and something which will definitely make a statement.

This outfit seems to thrown together, but works really well. Her high bun and denim jacket give a relaxed feel, while still being on trend. Janet said: "I don't know how to explain my style. I can't describe it."
A girl's best friend is her shoes and you can never have too many. As well as a love for footwear, us girls like to indulge in the finer things in life, champagne, shopping, chocolate and spa-breaks, but I would give all that up to own this entire collection. Raven Kauffman is a luxury brand that has been creating exquisite accessories since 2008.

I love the detail on this envelope clutch and the fact that it has a shoulder strap, which can be hidden away or used.

This is my favourite bag of the collection, it is so well finished. It has a polished look about it and is completely on trend, I am sure it would be a great investment piece too, with it being a classic design suited to use both night and day.
It's a new year and a new you, so why not be a little bit more experimental when it comes to your fashion choices - I sure will be.

Lina de Albuquerque, the fashion design behind this label first studied in the heart of Brazil, where she was born and raised. Today she is found crossing between Germany, Switzerland, UK and Portugal which has no doubt helped to inspire her in the creation of her collections.
The main reason I like her A/W '11 collection so much is because the designer manages to take the classic and mix it with graphic details, so that little black dress now has a little va va voom.
