Lead actresses Kristen Steward and Charlize Theron both opted for gothic glamour in sheer black gowns. The 22-year-old Twilight
actress wore this stunning Marchesa dress teaming it with a pair of Jimmy Choo heels.

While Charlize Theron wore this beautiful, sleeveless Christian Dior Couture gown from the spring/summer 2012 collection.
Finishing the outfit with a black Dior clutch, black sandals and 1950’s inspired French roll hairstyle.
However, it seems the ladies from Made In Chelsea didn’t do so well in the style department.

Gabriella Ellis, opted for a black dress with a thigh high split that showed much more leg than we cared to see. The long black dress,
green hair and red lips made the reality star look like she was going out for a night of trickle treating rather than attending a premiere.

Victoria Baker Harper looked boring and unglamorous in this white pleated mini dress. Not even those amazing nude Louboutin
peep toes could make the outfit more exiting.

She’s the American Songstress and Youtube sensation that has taken the music and fashion world by storm. Her supermodel looks and distinctive voice as hurled her into an over night success with fashion giants and music conglomerates alike stopping at nothing to get a piece of Miss Del Rey.

Fashion and Music have always had a habit of becoming entwined with music icons like Madonna having the ability the turn fashion labels such as Jean Paul Gautier and Dolce and Gabbana into household names. And from this seasons fashions shows it’s evident that a long line of prestigious fashion labels are queuing up to hitch a ride on Lana Del Rey’s success and prom-queen looks.
Christopher Kane chose the haunting number one hit ‘Video Games’ for his show during London Fashion Week. While Christian Dior flew the singer out to perform at there Beijing show at the end of last year.

But possibly the biggest fashion complement for the songstress so far was when English fashion house Mulberry decided to create and name a bag in dedication to Lana’s style and beauty. The Del Rey bag is a timeless classic with a simple and functional design that complements her unique and laid back style.

Del Rey has also become the crowned queen of spring glossies. Following in the footsteps of Adele, Florence Welch and Cheryl Cole, Lana is the latest musical offspring to appear on the front of British Vouge. The candyfloss theme used a lot of Louis Vuitton pastel spring summer collection and played up to her 1950’s pin-up appearance.

With a face and body like hers it was only a matter of time before a fashion label snapped her up. The former make-up artist and now Chelsea It girl Millie Mackintosh was recently unveiled as the new face of Lipsy. The leggy blonde was eliminated from a recent series of Britain’s Next Top Model but it seems they really missed the boat as Mackintosh is now modelling Lipsy’s new VIP collection which launched on the 27th March.
Filled with frills these party dresses are sure to make a statement. And as Millie says “The brand does great evening wear and would be perfect for any red carpet event”.
Millie is also a fan of the red carpet gowns by TellusFashion’s very own Deborah Courtoy, she wore the sweeping beige dress by the emerging fashion designer in a recent shoot with OK! Magazine.
But Millie’s pouting doesn’t stop there; the Chelsea starlet has also been named as the ambassador and model for Manuka Doctor skincare company.

This spring/summer designers have gone print crazy! Catwalk shows everywhere were brimming with quirky patterns and bold designs. Mary Katrantzou debuted an edgy collection full of mad swirls and bold colours clashing with bright lips and florescent accessories. While Burberry Prosrsum flaunted its global nomad atire, complete with batik prints and tribal tees.

TellusFashion loves...

It was the night before NY Fashion Week, and the frosty conditions that settled across the Big Apple didn’t stop our lovely generous celebs getting there glad rags on to support a good cause. The annual amfAR Gala that saw a stream of A-Listers braving the icy conditions to help raise money for AIDS research and prevention was hosted by none other than Sarah Jessica Parker. With fashion week looming let’s have a look at what they were all wearing...

Sarah Jessica Parker chose to dress down her girly Oscar de la Renta frock with a biker jacket and some very strange looking Michael Jackson gloves. Don’t think Carrie would be too impressed with this one SJP!

The ever Shrinking Alexa Chung can do no wrong in my eyes. Always front row at any major fashion event, she nails effortless elegance constantly. High shine fabrics were huge on the runway last Fashion Week and here we see Alexa teaming her cute shine blouse with a detailed mid length skirt. A splash of colour from a quirky bag creates a look that is bang on trend for the spring summer season.

Supermodel Erin Heatherton looked gorgeous in this strapless monotone gown, finishing the look with tussled hair and natural makeup.

Gossip Girls Leighton Meester looked stunning dressed head to toe in Louis Vuitton, Jazzing up the traditional LBD with Fur Panels and a plunging neckline.

There’s always one major wardrobe malfunction at these events and this time it was Lindsay Lohan. The 25 year old looked well beyond her years caked in makeup and wearing this frumpy below the knee white dress. Her dodgy hair and even dodgier lips was the only thing that was able to detract onlooker’s attention from this hideous outfit.
Women across the world will stop at nothing to achieve the perfect silhouette, from nip and tucks to ugly pull in pants we are constantly striving for perfection. But now thanks to a number of talented designers we can have the ultimate hour glass figure without so much as joining the gym or depriving yourself of that galaxy bar. Now I know you’re sitting there thinking, how on earth can such a magical dress exist...well it does and the celebs are loving the genius optical illusion dresses.

Kate Winslet made a triumphant appearance at the Venice Film Festival last year in this optical illusion Stella McCarthy dress. The black panelling down the side creates an hour glass figure in the blink of an eye.

Liv Tyler wore another one of Stella McCarthy’s clever creations, nailing the colour blocking trend at the same time.

A lady who needs no help creating curves is Kim Kardashian. The voluptuous reality star wore this black and white moiré print dress by Alexander McQueen that creates the illusion of a tiny waist. However, showing it can work in both ways Victoria Beckham wore the exact same dress to give her slender frame more curves, demonstrating these dresses are perfect for any shape and size.

Never one to make the most of her womanly figure, star of TOWIE Jessica Wright stepped out looking amazing in this optical illusion dress for a few drinks with her co-stars.

Showing us that illusion dresses don’t have to be overly dramatic, Whitney port wore this asymmetric mini dress with a strip of purple fabric across the waist making it look even smaller than it already is.
