TellusFashion doesn't need a man to boost our self esteem; we are far too busy rolling around in fabulous frocks and shoes to care about the goings on of the opposite sexes minds. But recent research from boffins at Rochester University in New York has shown that should we show an interest, and choose to give up our addiction to Gok Wan re-runs and using our living room as cat walks, that men prefer a lady in red on a first date, as it symbolises passion and sexuality.

Looking as glamorous as these three firecrackers is no mean feat, but with our roving fashionista eye and the chance to choose designs from our own fabulous designers, we may find a first date look to rival Mila Kunis, Nicole Kidman and everyone's favourite lady in 'wed', Kate Middleton.

With Spring in the air and weather warm enough to flash a little flesh, this short but classy design will leave him hot under the collar, and gives you plenty of room for more cocktails and dessert. The floaty design flatters any shape, and TellusFashion gets a sense of K-Middy from this garment. *Wills and total life envy not included.
This beautiful Nor-Lisa design has all the drama in the back, but can be reversed to have the impact in the front also. At first glance, the cut outs seem to be pretty butterflies, but they are in fact spitfire planes, sure to leave him going loop the loop over your outfit.
If you're feeling a little more Middleton than Mila, and don't fancy wearing your heart on more than a sleeve, then subtly drop the red hint with these TellusFashion designer accessories.
Perfect for those ladies who fancy unleashing a little bit of their inner Moulin Rouge, without donning a full on can can outfit to impress. We're sure this will catch his eye, especially as you take your phone out to give him your digits.
TellUsFashion hasn't done a Darius Danesh and gone all colourblind, but we do know that red and leopard print go together like Victoria Beckham and heels. These lavish Mifani stems are the perfect item to set that first date outfit off with a bang.
*TellUsFashion cannot be held responsible for any men falling head over heels as a result of any of the featured outfits.
TellusFashion is still recovering from the mayhem of London Fashion Week, but even fashionistas need a break from routing through their free goodie bags and looking back at runway snaps; what better way to reward ourselves than compiling our own set of awards for the lucky celebs who attending this weeks lavish Brits at the O2 arena.
We get more excited than Jodie Marsh in a gym when faced with a red carpet event, as there are so many fabulous frocks to cast our roving fashion eye over, and of course the chance to openly shout' sack the stylist pronto!'
So sit back, pour yourself a glass of something fabulously bubbly and enjoy our 'Brit of Alright' winners 2012.

Surely not; the former chavette of the fashion world turns a fashion corner whilse channeling Jessie J? While other fashion blogs have slated her brave choice, TellusFashion appreciates her giant leap from the Cheryl Cole comparisons; why should an 18 year old girl have to dress like a 28 year old woman? The vibrant sequins and purple reminds us of a Saturday night disco, while the black band around the waist gives teeny teen Cher curves she never knew she had.
Best Dressed UK Male: Tinie Tempah

Image- mensfashionmagazine.com
Hey! we predict a style earthquake up in here; Tinie Tempah brings British casual to the Brit awards and TellusFashion is loving everything, from the groomed beard, to the sapphire blue suit jacket. Tinie adds specs appeal to his stellar outfit, and shows the other boys that being suited and booted doesn't always get you on the best dressed list.
Best Dressed International Female: Rihanna

Image- Shesomajor.com
Was there ever going to be another winner; highly unlikely, as Rihanna can do no wrong in our eyes. Wearing Givenchy Couture, with low cut drama in both the front and the back; Rihanna is the luckiest girl in the fashion world right now.
Best Dressed International Male: Bruno Mars
Image- MTV.com
I don't know about you, but TellusFashion has serious quiff envy after clapping eyes on this high in the sky hair creation. Coupled with a classic American smooth tuxedo, Bruno sends us to Mars and back with his effortless style. We'd catch a grenade in our best Chanel for you anyday Bruno.
Trying A Brit Too Hard...Abbey Clancy

Image- examiner.com
First of all, how was she invited? Second of all, even though Geordie Shore is very popular right now, you would avoid raiding the female casts wardrobe to attend a top awards show. TellusFashion is not a fan of the Barbie doll look, so we give Mrs Crouch a red card for her red carpet efforts.
Last night saw the Brits invade the O2 Arena in style, and TellusFashion's desk was brimming with photos of stunning celebs strutting their stuff along the red carpet. But the ultimate style queen of the evening, and defiiate winner of the Jessie J look-a-like competition, goes to X Factor fire cracker Cher Lloyd.

Perhaps the Cheryl Cole comparisons got too much for the fiesty teen, but whatever fashion pill she's taking we'll have double the dose, as little Cher looks positively stunning in this sequin purple cat suit, topped off with killer Christian Louboutin Asteroid Spike heels.
Mini Cheryl may have taken inspiration from her former mentor, but she has taken a confident leap and is clearly experimenting with every aspect of her image. Hats off to you young Lloyd; TellusFashion hearts your style swagger, and we hope to see more of this blossoming young beaut in 2012.

Keep your eyes peeled for a full fashion run down of The Brits later today, with TellusFashion handing out awards for Best Dressed UK & International Female, Fashion New comer, and WTF Were you thinking?!
Rihanna has always pushed the boundaries of fashion, but lately she has been hitting the headlines with a look which reminds TellusFashion of that moment Julia Roberts dons her blonde wig and hits Hollywood Boulevard in Pretty Woman. But is Rihanna's trashy fashion merely a transition period; she is only 23 years old after all, and we all have to hit a few fash disasters before we find our stride.

She may of found love in a hopeless place, but TellUsFashions heart is definately not skipping a beat when seeing these ensembles.

Billie Jean, But We're Not Too Keen...

We all know that RiRi's style changes faster than she gets a new tattoo, but lately she has fallen off the fashion radar, and we at TellUsFashion have put together a few outfits from our very own designers to have her looking like the most fashionable girl in the world once more.
Adolfo Sanchez ONDI Dress £103

Ri-ri is a fan of flashing the flesh, and this stunning creation allows her to display her curves while still adding a dash of style.
Dominque Kral £300

Our good girl gone bad loves to stand out from the crowd, and this emerald green stand out dress would put her straight back on the fashion map where she belongs.
Nico Didonna Faux Fur Coat £360
Teaming this with her favourite umbrella-ella-ella would keep Rihanna well covered from the storm of critics (including us!)
A Cut Above The Rest...
Summer may be a distant dream right now, but it gives TellusFashion plenty of time to hone and tone our post January bodies and buy this risque Oye Swimwear.

Winter isn't the only thing nipping at our toes, as London Fashion Week is fast upon us. No sooner have we hung up our party dresses than the next fabulous array of Autumn/ Winter charmers are doing their thing on the catwalk.
But for many of us fashion isn't a necessity; we don't need to splurge our money on new outfits, and we never stop to think that someone somewhere actually needs clothing to stay warm during these bitter months. However, the lovely folks at Elizabeth Finn Care have put together a fabulous celebrity charity auction, with the proceeds going towwards those in finanicial difficulties who simply cannot afford to but essential clothes.
The fabulously named Wrap Up Against Poverty' campaign was first launched in 2011, and sees well known faces, such as Sienna Miller, Kimberley Walsh, Dame Helen Mirren,Lisa Snowdon and Katie Price donating gorgeous items of clothing usually only seen by us member of the public when flicking through a magazine.
Former model and presenter, Lisa Snowdon is fully behind the cause saying "It's unbelievable to think that so many people go without warm clothes through the winter, and by bidding auction everyone can help change lives for the better."
The auction starts today (26th January) and finishes on the 26th of February. Log on to www.elizavethfinncare.org.uk/WrapUp
Items included in this year's auction include:
Dame Helen Mirren Alberta Feretti Coat
Fern Brittan Alexander McQueen suit

Designer Dress: Martina Spectlova

TellusFashion is a little in love with the Helen Mirren coat, so why not beat us to it and bid bid bid!
TellusFashion remembers the days when JoJo was 13 and singing about heartache, which we as fully grown human beings are still waiting to experience. Now aged 20, JoJo has decided to heal her broken heart by draping herself in one of our very own designers (yaay!),
JoJo was seen at the APL.De.Ap’s Birthday Celebration and Launch of Charity Dreams at The Conga Room at L.A, wearing an Adolfo Sanchez creation.

(Picture: Stylebistro.com)
TellusFashion had to do a double take; gone is the innocent pop princess, only to be replaced by this sassy and classy young woman. She even has a tattoo on her ankle, which is the American symbol of being, like, proper grown up, like duh.
JoJo chose to rock this gorgeous midnight blue dress with minimal accessories; this Adolfo Sanchez design goes well with the 'less is more' attitude.
The great news; apart from JoJo coming back onto the scene, is that this dress is available on TellusFashion.com AND is in the sale! Merry Christmas Tellus-Fashionistas!

ADOLFO SANCHEZ PRIN OSA DRESS: WAS £322.35 NOW £161.20. Click here to buy.
Adolfo Sanchez is an LA based designer who kick started his career back in 2006, and is inspired by everything, from people, places and music. He has been quoted as saying 'I sometimes wonder if I have become obsessed with this industry.' Well that makes two of us Adolfo....
Christmas may be just around the corner, but it's not too little too late to grab this gorgeous designer frock; if you can't treat yourself during the festive period then when can you?
TellUsFashion has always wanted to step into Cheryl Cole's shoes, and now that office day dream has become a reality, as the former X Factor judge/ ex wife of a rat bag/ singer debuts her long awaited footwear collection for Stylistpick.com. We highly doubt Cheryl has become a cobbler over night, but it is clear she has put her heart and 'sole' into this venture, but as veterans of 'stumbling home in sky scraper heels which look amazing on the shelf, yet hurt after 5 minutes of raving to Rihanna' we know what maketh a decent Cinderella slipper...
Cheryl said that she 'wants every girl to relate to her shoes and be able to wear them' and while there's no denying that most women would love to feel like Ms Cole for just 5 minutes of the day, the reality is that stumbling to the tube or doing the morning coffee run in 6 inch heels can leave you looking more awkward than doing the Tulisa dress shuffle; a favourite for the TellUsFashion Christmas party.

(Picture: Dailymail.co.uk)
While the practicality and price of Chezza's shoes; ranging from just under £80 to just under £120, leaves TellUs feeling a little disheartened, we do admire the fact that Cheryl has clearly based her designs on shoes she fell in love with over the years.

Cheryl based her 'Glam Slam' disco ball platform heels (£79.90) on the pair she wore when unveiling her waxwork at Madame Tussauds. TellUs thinks these are the perfect 'taxi to bar' shoes, but may not with stand our 'Fight For This Love' dance routines.

Ms Cole was seen sporting some gorgeous strappy dog tooth heels during the X Factor auditions, and we can only assume this fashion win rubbed off in her own 'Houndstooth Pump' platforms. (£79.90)

TellUsFashion still comes over all funny when looking back at Cheryl's military phase, as seen on the X Factor below. So there's no denying that the outfit most women want to wear at fancy dress parties, has influenced the prettiest girl on earth to create 'Freak Le Chic' (£119.85) and the comfort over style 'Byker Groove' boot (£119.85) Ant and Dec would be proud pet.

Cheryl may be one of the most stylish female celebrities of our time, but she still remembers the good old days of combats and Timberlands, and these aptly named 'T.L.C' boots (£79.80) take TellUs back to the Girls Aloud days of scraped back hair and make up now seen at Gypsy weddings.
Our verdict on Cheryl's debut collection? overpriced, ambitious and full of heart, just like the lady herself.
All of these designs and many more can be found at http://www.stylistpick.com/shop-cheryl-cole)

Looking back at pictures of myself as a baby and toddler, I can see outfits my cousins previously wore mixed with some classic mini dresses, which some how made me look like an uncool Cabbage Patch Doll. One things for certain; my Mother was not trying to turn me into her mini me, but one thing TellUsFashion has noticed over the past 5 years is the abundance of Yummy Mummy's turning their celebri-kids into clones of themselves.
Victoria Beckham
The biggest example of this comes from Mrs Beckham and her pouting princess, Harper. Many have accused Victoria of carrying the newest addition to the Becks brood around like a fashion accessory, and we at TellUsFashion tend to agree, but then again if we saw Little Miss Harper dressed in Mothercares finest, our blog would have a whole different tone. Victoria most recently dressed her gorgeous girl in a £30 pair of Chloe tights, yes, £30; just imagine the amount of one wear hosiery wonders you could grab in Primani for that price. *sob*

Think back to the days when you couldn't wait to dress your Barbie in the latest array of outfits from Toys R'Us, now times that feeling by 100 and that will probably equal how Posh feels when hitting the shops for her bouncing bubba. The below dress cost a rumoured $400, and we're not talking about the one Vic is draped in...Harper, we're not jealous of you at all, no, not one.little.bit.

Katie Holmes & Suri Cruise
Thinking back to the days we can remember, watching Dawsons Creek and being in awe of Katie Holme's girl next door beauty ranks as a true TellUsFashion highlight; we sometimes like to dust off our stone wash denim and strappy vests just to relive the feeling. So we always knew that when Katie had a little girl, she would be one of the best dressed in Hollywood, little did we know that a K-Cruise mini me would be unleashed onto the fashion scene, giving us Suri-ous wardrobe envy. Suri's clothing collection is rumoured to be worth 3.6 million dollars, which makes our 20 minute decision not to buy that £100 coat in Topshop; even though it was the last one in our size, look pretty pathetic. TellUsFashion can't wait for little Suri to blossom into a beautiful young woman, as she's almost certainly destined for a career as a model or designer. And for those who just can't get enough of this 5 year olds style, check out the blog dedicated to her at suricruisefashion.blogspot.com

Gwen Stefani & Kingston
There's No Doubt about it; Gwen Stefani's style is definately in the TellUsFashion top 5 for its unique appeal and making a 40 year old woman look cool in clothes meant for a 25 year old. Kingston may have the looks of his rock star father, but the styling is 100% Stefani; from his messed up hair to his quirky outfits. All the riches baby do mean everything when it comes to making sure your tiny toddler has the edge on the other Hollywood Boulevard babies, but having our own clothing line certainly helps. TellUs can't predict the future, but we'd bet our launch party experience on seeing Harper, Suri & Kingston on the cover of Harper's Baazar in years to come.

TellUsFashion looks forward to the next generation of celebri-kids who make Carre Bradshaw's wardrobe look like The Apprentice Cafe.
Most things get better with age, like a fine wine or David Beckham, but when TellUs caught sight of the Queen of pop Madonna gyrating in barely there shorts and fishnet tights, we immediately felt Lourdes’s pain and decided to name and shame the worst three offenders when it comes to growing old disgracefully.

PAMELA ANDERSON

The 43 year old former Baywatch babe has a figure to die for, but most of the time her ample assets look like the ones that are gasping for breath in clingy material and dresses which were surely only meant for a Barbie; we are pretty sure it’s over 30 years since Pam-An played with one of those. TellUs says throw out the cheap 90’s bombshell bible and step out of that fashion darkness into the light.
SARAH JESSICA PARKER

Lately anything leather screams Rihanna here at TellUsFashion, but even though Ms Parker is fully dressed and has left the suspenders at home, something about this look has us thinking that Carrie Bradshaw could hold this outfit perfectly, but knowing that SJP is a mother of 3 and found her Mr Big while Carrie was tottering around Manhattan in her Manolos makes this outfit seem cheap and 20 years too young.
JENNIFER LOPEZ

There’s no denying that Jenny from the block has a rocking body, but while we at TellUsFashion would roam the office flashing our rock hard abs if we had them, there’s something not quite right when a celebrity reverts back to their flesh flashing ways 20 years down the line. Lately J-Lo reminds us of a cheap extra in a P Diddy video, and while her love may not cost a thing we feel a little dollar could be invested in a longer array of tops.
BENJAMIN BUTTON CELEBRITY STYLE ALERT: KATIE HOLMES

Long before Tom Cruise jumped on sofas and put a ring on it, Katie Holmes was the fresh faced girl next door who stole many a man’s heart, and had girls everywhere envious of her laid back style. But since settling into married life and having Suri, Katie is looking less of the pretty princess and more like the President’s wife; she has starting dressing much older even though is barely into her 30's. One things for sure, there’s no way you’ll make it through Dawson’s window in those knee length frocks.
When we TellUs first heard ex TOWIE starlet Amy Childs was releasing a clothing range, we rolled our eyes and prepared ourselves for a collection of body con dresses, complete with vajazzle embellishments and a free set of double volume false lashes thrown in for good measure. We can only compare the reality of how we felt once clapping eyes on a classic, yet typically 'Amy', range of dresses to how Lucy was left feeling when Mark caught her in her smalls; highly embarrassed and wanting more.

This stunning white dress, complete with signature Amy leopard print belt, is one of over 20 creations in her collection. The range proved so popular when released today, that it crashed within 5 minutes, with 22 thousand people wanting a piece of the TOWIE action.

The collection won't leave you feeling like Kirk after a new car splurge, as prices range from £35 to £80.

Amy debuted the collection at the Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model Live event in London last week, to the delight of fans and fashionistas alike. Ms Childs displayed demure and figure hugging creations which would make Gok Wan wince with delight, but also unveiled some vajazzle-esque party dresses just in time for the Christmas season.
We might not be hitting The Sugarhut while Mick pours us champagne, but that's no excuse not to be part of team reem this Winter.

Amy has stayed true to her Brentwood roots, even though life has thrown her in to a media whirlwind and the days of a simple wax and massage are long behind her. She can finally step out of Katie Price's shadow and tell all of the doubters to 'shaaaat up', as the only way is up for Ms Childs and her gorgeous fashion collection.
